Guitar Tone Gurus is back, rebuilt from the ground up. Same idea as before: preset packs for Line 6 gear, built by working players and ready for the stage. What’s changed is nearly everything around them. Here’s the short tour.

If you had an account before

Your account came with us. Sign in with the same email and password you used on the old site. If the password doesn’t work, use the “Forgot your password?” link on the sign-in page and we’ll email you a new link.

Every pack you downloaded on the old site is already in your library, free, ready to download again whenever you need it. You don’t have to buy anything twice.

A few packs show as Being updated in your library. We’re reworking those presets and they’ll be back, ready to download, as soon as each one is finished. They’re still yours.

How Picks work

Packs are now priced in Picks. A Pick is worth about a dollar, and each pack page shows what it costs.

  • New accounts start with 10 welcome Picks, enough to try a few packs before you spend anything.
  • Need more? Pick bundles start at $10 for 10 Picks, and the bigger bundles add free bonus Picks.
  • Purchased Picks last 5 years. Welcome and other free Picks expire sooner, and we’ll email you before any of yours run out.
  • Plenty is still free. Factory presets, community collections and utility packs cost nothing with an account.

Once a pack is in your library it stays there. Download it as many times as you like.

Ways to earn free Picks

  • Review a pack you own. Open any pack in your library, leave a star rating and a few words, and you earn a Pick once it’s approved.
  • Invite a friend. Your Picks page has a personal invite link. A friend who joins through it starts with extra Picks, and you earn Picks when they first buy.

What’s in the store

Packs are sorted by the rig at your feet: Helix Stadium, Helix, HX Stomp, Pod Go and POD Express. Pick your device on the home page and you’ll only see packs that load on it.

Every pack now comes with a GTG READ ME: what’s in the download, how to load it onto your device, and tips to make it sound right on your rig.

Build tones? Sell them here

If you build presets that hold up on a real stage, we’d like to hear from you. Artists earn on every sale, and we handle the artwork, the guide and the store. Have a look at Become an artist.
